An interesting piece of how Facebook can keep you attached at home and thus, prevent you from immersing yourself in your host culture (e.g., Brazil). Facebook is great to post pics and update people of what you are doing (I do this) but it has its limits and if overstepped, can rob you of the rich intercultural experience you are supposed to have.
Natally is a 7-year-old student that our MOM group worked with at Joao XXIII. She is learning violin and was featured in the state-wide newscast.
